University and Colleges

I may like Engineering Physics. This course starts out in first year talking about advanced math and physics. Then in the second year you chose from the different engineering disciplines and focus specifically on one. Another program that I may like to go into is mechanical engineering. This course is a course that takes place after the general engineering course. Both these courses are offered at University of BC. There is a better mechanical engineering program at Waterloo where I would like to attend. I may also want go to into civil engineering and there is a civil engineering course at Waterloo. Another course that I would like to take is Medieval Studies at Queens. Simon Fraser University offers a course on physics that I am interested in.The final course that I am interested in is the Accounting program at Dalhousie in Halifax.

So the Universities that I am interested in going to are University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Queens University, University of Waterloo, or Dalhousie in Nova Scotia.

After High School

1. I think that my parents and relatives won't really like it if  I take the year off. Some of my cousins have done this, then it seems to stretch from one year to like three. I think that they would want me to go right away.
2. I think that most people who know me expect me to go to university. They want me to go there and they expect me to.
3. I think that my parents would support me, but they would encourage me to reach the highest level of my potential and go to university.
4. I think that my parents would be ok if I went to collage. The would probably want me to go to university though.
5. My family might support me if I entered the mission field, but they would probably advise me to get a education first, and they would probably say that I have skills better suited for other areas.
6. People I know would definitely discourage me from getting an entry level job. I have the ability to get a good education, so they would want me to to try to get a better job.
7. My family would encourage me to volunteer in my free time, but not as a full time thing. Everyone would encourage to get a job to support myself.
8. My family would support the move to a bible collage, but they may suggest a different area of study as I am not as gifted in certain areas that are good for bible college.

Future Job

My top jobs were
1. chemical engineer
2. aerospace engineer
3. Mechanical engineer
4. Chemist
5. Physicist

2. I agree with the results because I am interested in math and am pretty good at it.

3. I am excited to see engineer on the list because that is what I want to do.

4.  I am not surprised to see any of these things on the list.

Last Post

1. I found it helpful to know about how to have a growth mindset, and how situations can affect how successful a person is.

2. It taught me that I can improve in any area, as long as I think I can. Also improving in on area can affect how you develop in an other area. Such as the chess master who learned martial arts.

3. It taught me that other people's brains are different than mine and learn and develop differently. It also taught me that people that seem to not be successful, just might be those who are most successful. People might not learn, not because they can't, but because they don't think they can.

4. They ask a limited number of questions, so they don't know how the person will respond in all situations. Also people may think that they will react in one way, but in real life they react totally differently. Also people don't nicely fit into different categories, they are a combination of many different parts, so these test can't accurately define people.

5. People may start to think that one result of this test is better than an other so they believe that some people are better than others. Also people may think that they can't change and are stuck the way these test defined them. This isn't true.

Personality Test

1. My natural energy orientation is 56% introvert. After spending several hours with a group of people, I like to have some time alone, away from socializing.
2. I was 25% sensing. I have a pretty good memory and I can remember events fairly well.
3. I am 88% thinking. An example is that I try to make my choices based on what is better, based on facts.
4. I was 100% judging. It makes me really stressed out if I fall behind on deadlines.

Success

1. An outlier is someone who is someone is someone who is very successful, much more than the average person.
2. I think it is some of both. People in good situations may not succeed because they don't have drive and don't have talent. People with talent and drive may not succeed because they don't have the opportunities.
3. I think that this smart guy that had a rough life, so he didn't succeed. I also think that for all his knowledge, he could make more money. If he was so smart he wouldn't try to prove God. This isn't going to be popular and probably won't make money. Also I don't think that it is Biblical to prove God. If we know for sure then there is no faith.
4. My ability to play my music, I see as fixed.
5. I think that I have a growth mindset is my ability to drive. When I first learned to drive a dirt bike, it didn't have a clutch, then I learned. I believe that I can become a good driver, even though I don't have that much experience right know.

Dream Life

1. I saw a middle age man, with all his hair, looking in the mirror. I wasn't that fat, but could probably cut a few pounds off the belly.
2. Jeans, and a work shirt.
3. I left my house at around 7 or 7:30.
4. I went to work in my Lamborghini.
5. I was working at a large building.
6.  I was designing and building prototypes of something.
7. I called my wife.
8. I left work at around 4:30. I worked for 8 and a half hours.
9. I bought a a dirt bike.
10. it wasn't huge, but very nice and in the country.
11. I live with my wife and kids.
13. I went to a NHL hockey game. I went with my friends.
14. Not really.

Time Management

A. Some of the biggest time wasters are sports and TV. I like to play sports because they are fun and keep you healthy. While sports are great, they do take up a lot of time. Hockey is probably the most time consuming. I have to leave my house an hour before the game, and don't get home until 30- 45 minutes after the game. That is a large potion of my life. Also watching TV, especially during NHL playoffs takes up a lot of time. A hockey game is about two hours long and that is a lot of time to spend every night.

B. I sometimes agree with this. Sometimes I just don't manage my time well, but other times I have so much stuff that I ave to do, there just isn't time.

C. People procrastinate because they don't want to do something, or they want to do something else. These are also the reasons I procrastinate.

D. My week can look very different depending on the time of year. Right now I have after school soccer practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. After the soccer practice I have youth until eight. On Friday night I also have youth. Other than that I will spend my time on either leisure time, or homework. On Sunday I go to church.

E. No. I do this every week so it's not that surprising.

F. Maybe more physical activity, and spend more time reading the bible.

True Colours

A. My "true" colour was green. There were many aspects of this colour that describe me. Some of the ones that describe me the best are seek to understand the world, need to be competent, and look for intellectual simulation.
B. This does help me understand others and myself. It shows me that there are many different types of people, and some people are wired in a certain way.

Multiple Intelligence

1. For the test my top three smarts are logical, naturalistic, and kinaesthetic. I mostly agree with the results in the test. I think that I am more linguistic than the results show.
2. I think I learn best by doing by myself. Another way that I learn is by someone drawing it out and explaining it to me.
3. A lesson that stuck in my head was when I learned about Vimy Ridge in grade 9. It was really a lesson, but an isu that we were assigned. I learned about Vimy ridge. I think this stuck in my head because I could learn at my own pace, and it was very interesting.

Birth Order

1. I am the oldest child in my family. I think that the traits associated with being the oldest are very applicable to me. I am fairly responsible and organised so I think that I fit the stereotype.
2. I think birth order does affect your personality to a point. This is the whole nature vs nurture discussion. Some people's genetics make them more organised or the way they are raised. But certain experiences, experienced by a certain part of the birth order shape people.
3. I think that parents treat their children differently based on a few factors. As parents have more experience with their children they treat their children differently so the first and the last child are treated differently. Also they may have had more time to focus on the older children as they were not busy with other children.

What is a Calling

1. A calling is a very strong urge towards an idea, way of life, or an object or goal. You can have a calling to a faith or religion, a job, way of life, or a reform.
2. There are several purposes of working. The first is to make money to support you and your family. The second purpose it to be able to help others financially. The third is to help grow the economy and by doing that help others. The final reason is that it gives you something to do, and idle hands are the devil's tools.
3. I expect to get a good idea what job I am going to have and what kind of schooling I will need for this job.
